He was accused of being elitist. They can't come up with anything real to diminsh him because he's bad-ass. So the opponents grab for straws...as I said in a poem once, "like a suicide with second thoughts grabs for air..."
Seriously guys, he's not elitist. He spent his career representing those who otherwise have a hard time being heard. He's under the gun:
"Obama has come under fire by opponents after he told an audience in San Francisco last week that economic problems led voters in some small towns to become "bitter" and "cling to guns or religion" as an outlet for their frustrations."
Well, they do. His opponents must not know what people in small towns can be like. Hey, isn't that elitist?
